Austin Community College is proud to announce an opening for a FT Faculty position in Austin, TX. Start date: Spring, 2019.

Beyond the essential duties of teaching Interpersonal, Public Speaking, Business & Professional Speaking and the basic Intro to Human Communication course, candidates are required to participate in department initiatives and college-wide committees. Preferred work experience includes experience teaching at a community college, demonstration of teaching excellence, experience with dual credit population, and/or knowledge of academic certificate programs in Communication Studies. Plano Independent School District seeks a certified and highly qualified speech and debate education professional and coach to fill a high school speech, debate and oral interpretation position for the 2018-2019 school year. The position requires an enthusiastic and energetic individual who would like to continue the growth of a very well established and successful program. Job requirements would include Professional Communications and Debate. A stipend for after school speech activities will supplement extra duties. Plano ISD expects that the instructor will prepare the speech team for local, state and national tournaments through after school work sessions and clinics. With a tradition of excellence, a supportive administration and exceptional public support, Plano ISD has built a reputation for excellence in all aspects of education. The speech and debate community in Plano consists of a supportive staff at thirteen middle schools, six 9-10 high schools, three 11-12 senior high schools and three Academy programs.
